Vaughan Willard is located in Pickering, Ontario and serves students in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

At Vaughan Willard Public School, our purpose, as a school-based community, is to strive to develop academic excellence for all our students.

Welcome to Vaughan Willard P.S.!

A special welcome to new families who are joining our community. Vaughan Willard is a wonderful place to learn. We encourage our students to be global citizens and to demonstrate responsibility for their learning and our community. We are proud of the many academic and co-curricular activities that take place throughout the year.  Our dedicated staff provide a rigorous program that supports student success in many ways. 

Vaughan Willard has a history of strong community connections where families, community members, staff and students work together to promote healthy development of all our students.  We believe that all children will learn best in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.  We aim to achieve that goal by offering resources, curricular and extra-curricular opportunities that represent the interests and experiences of our students.  We aim to create a community of learners who enjoy their learning, and are curious problem solvers for the future. 

Our School Community Council is a valued partner in our school.  Consider joining the SCC in order to share your input and to support our fundraising efforts.

Regular communication between home and school is essential for optimum learning. Our school website contains information about the school itself, as well as the school code of conduct and monthly newsletters.
